Being the local main battlefield for business invitation and foreign capital introduction as well as an important window of opening to the outside of the world, the economic development zone regards the exhibition as an excellent chance to show image and introduce foreign investment, they precisely organized their preparatory work. Till now, the economic development zone has fulfilled the exhibition work among the enterprises in the zone, over 11 companies such as Fujia Electrical Appliance, Jiaqin Machinery, Keda Instrument has reserved 24 booths in the Local Industrial Products Hall, more than 100 kind of special products will be showed. Every company is selecting exhibits, designing booth style, and some companies are now decorating their booths. They strive for exhibiting an brand new image of their products to visitors.
The economic development zone widely invites guests from home and abroad. At present, it keeps in touch with over 50 guests from USA, Japan, Canada, Hong Kong, Taiwan, etc., some of them decided to participate in the exhibition. |

Although yester is Sunday, in the round hall of China Plastics City, the information center was busing with their work. The charger of the center told reporter that as the 4th CPE approaching, exhibitors from all over the country or visitors enhanced communication with them. Other enterprises who haven't reserved their booths still have great
interests on inquiring related information. It is sure that "China Plastics Online" which is built by the information center now is playing a more and more important role in the exhibition.
China Plastics City Information Center is responsible for issuing a wide range of information to enterprises and relevant media at home and abroad, its "China Plastics Online" includes "China Plastics Information Network", "China Engineering Plastics Network", "China Plastic Products
Network" and "China Plastics Exhibition Website". It is well-know among

The exhibition invitation work goes on

Though the date of opening ceremony for the 4th China Plastics Exhibition (CPE) is only one
month away now, nearly 98 percent of the main three large exhibition zones with over 1,300
booths in total have been booked up. This message was got from the business department of the
organizing committee of the 4th CPE.
The exhibition is composed of three exhibition zones, including CPC (China Plastics City)
exhibition zone, plastics machinery exhibition zone, CLIMC (China Light Mould Industrial City)
exhibition zone, cover an area of 35,000 sq.k.m, which will show enterprises in the field of raw
materials, plastics machinery, plastic mould, plastic products, Yuyao local products and
corresponding science achievements.
In order to hold a more effective and wonderful exhibition, it is obvious that invitation work is extra important. Therefore, the organizing committee issued the notice to guests at home and abroad at the end of the 3rd CPE, and issued information on the "the 4th CPE website" for a long-term.
From the beginning of April, the workers in the business departments issued exhibition information and invitation letter totally 31,100 copies through e-mail, mobile message, tel, fax, a umber of exterior enterprises
responded in time. |

On the press conference for the 4th CPE held in the capital Conference Hall of the People not long before, leaders from six sponsors introduced information at all sides to over 40 attending reporters. The affirmation of Yuyao¡¯s investment environment and holding capacity by Tan Zuzhou who is chairman of China Petroleum & Chemical Industrial Council, was caused great concern by media. Tan Zuzhou said, China Petroleum & Chemical Industrial Council as one of the sponsors, regarding introduction of the CPE to capital information circle as his responsibility, especially to recommend the holding city---Yuyao is more meaningful. He said, ¡°Yuyao is a newly built costal industrial city with well-developed economy and talent peoples.¡± In economic field, Yuyao¡¯s plastics industry is developing very fast, holds the second to none plastics raw material transaction market---China Plastics City, an industrial group incorporate mould making and plastic products processing, as well as the complete infrastructure facility like communication, telecom, power supply, water supply, etc. In human resource field, Yuyao is named ¡°a celebrated place of outstanding personalities¡±, a large amount of celebrities were come out in this place.
Tan Zuzhou sang high praise for Yuyao¡¯s movement which aims at the developing trend of plastic industry early and exert itself to breed the whole plastics train in the city. He listed the wide application of plastics, output and demand of plastics in China. The current output of plastics in our country is 12 million tons, meantime need to import 16 million tons a year, the 28 million tons demands fully show the proportion in our economy and life. Along with the developing of science and people¡¯s living standard, demands of plastics in electronic products, auto industry as well as building materials industry are increasing greatly. Therefore, Tan Zuzhou considered that ¡°plastics¡±business will have great achievements. He thought that Yuyao is wise and shows great foresight in this regard.
Talking of the reason why petrochemical industry would like to join the sponsors of the CPE, Tan said that the successful holding of CPE not only impels and boost the development of our plastics industry, but also is meaningful to discuss the corresponding measures after China¡¯s entry to WTO and further speedup domestic plastics market to connect with international market. China Petroleum & Chemical industry Council as a comprehensive association pays great attention and fully support economic and trade fair like this, and regarding it as an effective form of promoting China¡¯s plastic industry, meantime, it is also an active explore for petrochemical industrial association serving to the local policies and industrial development.
Tan Zuzhou emphasized the role of petrochemical industrial association played in CPE as ¡°Partner¡± and ¡°server¡±, expressed that he will unite and organize relevant associations and experts or scholars from science research units to hold specialty meetings, technical exchanges, specialty lectures, promote research results, organize consulting services. Try to solve technical difficulties met in the production practice, improve science content and grade of CPE.
When talking to the assessment of the precious CPE and expectation of the 4th CPE, Tan said, Yuyao has successfully held it for thrice since 1999, and gained remarkable achievements in the aspect of number of participants, transaction volume, foreign investment and talents import, organizing fairs, etc. The reason why Yuyao succeed lies in the solid economic basis and excellent humane environment. The weather in Bejing is sunny these days. This afternoon, ¡°Yuyao¡± and ¡°Plastics Exhibition¡± are the frequently used words in the Great Hall of the People. Press conference for the 4th China Plastics Exhibition (CPE) is ceremoniously held here.
Tan Zuzhou, Chairman of China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Association, Shen Gang, vice general manager of sales company for PetroChina Co., Ltd., Shi Hongjun, director of Internal Exhibition Office for Sinopec, Luo Donggang, vice president of China Import & Export Corp., Yang Zipeng, vice chairman pf China Light Industrial Council, as well as director of the organizing Committee of the 4th CPE and Mayor of Yuyao He Fuchang, vice mayor Chen Jianmiao attended the conference.

¡¡¡¡Mayor of Yuyao He Fuchang gave a ebullient speech. He said: ¡± the 4th China Plastics Exhibition is to be held in Yuyao from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31, which is a grand economic and trade fair, it is not only the first one after entry to WTO, but also could be regarded as a ¡°great parade¡± in the plastics industry in participating competition in the international market.
He Fuchang introduced attending reporters with Yuyao¡¯s centuries-old historical culture, abundant materials, industrial infrastructure and industrial advantages on which China Plastics Exhibition relied. He also gave a detailed statement on the achievements of improving investment environment and expanding opening-up to the outside of the world as well as the active measures carried out. He said, ¡°in recently years, we start with our work from transiting government function and optimizing development environment, speed up steps on opening-up to the outside of the world, now has basically built up an investment environment with relative flourish market system, relative complete city infrastructure facility and relative simple, convenient administrative approval procedure. Opening economy lies in a leading position for consecutive years in Zhejiang Province. Yuyao is one of the top ten largest markets, China Plastics City has become the biggest , professional plastics transaction market at home, the largest production means of market in Zhejiang and one of the 10 key markets in the country. Its neighboring China Light Industrial Mould City is mould processing center and mould material transaction center in East China. The transaction is very flourish and thriftily.¡±
Mr. He said, ¡°the coming years is a key period to stride forward from ¡°Xiao Kang¡± to modernization, Yuyao will further extend internal and external cooperation and exchange, boost the economy, social development to a new step.
