As the largest industrial zone developed by Taiwanese in Zhejiang province. Zhejiang Far East Industrial Park is situated in Yuyao Economic Zone. The total area of the district is 220 hectares. Zhejiang Far East Industrial Co., Ltd. is united run by some Taiwanese and deals with its development, planning and construction. The proposed investment is totally USD0.2 billion. Since 1973, the 87 hectares of the district has already been developed, and the district won the first award of Construction Project in Zhejiang province. By now, more than 50 enterprises from Taiwan, Japan, Australia, Malaysia and so on have registered and put into production one after another.
