China Plastics City was established in 1994 approved by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, planning a total area of 1.5 square kilometers, which occupies a total area of 200,000 square meters now. After 10 years’ construction and development, it gradually develops into a modern plastics market with a collection of goods flow, capital flow, and talents flow. Deal quantity of plastic raw materials is on the first stage. Currently, more than 2,000 species come into the market. It is the largest professional market that is the collection of plastic materials (ingredients), plastic products, plastics machinery, plastic information and exhibition and the largest material market in Zhejiang.

　Yuyao has become a national plastics raw and auxiliary material distributing center in the 1980s, honored as the “plastics kingdom”.
